Automotive Technology
In this 216-hour evening program that runs for 14 weeks, students will learn basic auto mechanics and diagnostics in New York State inspectors licensing.
In addition to understanding many basic operation functions of auto repair, students will learn the practical applications of safety, suspension, engine fundamentals, cylinder repair, and cooling systems. The course also covers scan tool operations, front end alignment, brakes, drivetrain and lines, steering gears and pumps, wheel balancing and safe and appropriate use of tools and equipment as well as other facets of the auto industry repair business. Class meets for four evenings per week in Sanborn.
